Birds of Prey photography workshop
July 26 @ 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm£105
The perfect opportunity to take the next step to improve your photography of birds in flight and capturing portraits in natural surroundings. This workshop runs from 2pm to 8pm to take advantage of the best evening light for photographing the birds.
The day starts with a brief presentation on how to take bird in flight shots and how to compose your portraits before ensuring everyone has their cameras set up for the first photography session. During this session we will fly the larger slower birds so that people can practise and also take a few portrait type shots of the birds. We then have a break for tea, coffee and a chance to have a look at some of the students images to give feedback on what worked and suggestions on how to improve what didn’t work. Then it’s back out for the main photography session of both flying and perched shots in the best of the evening light.
The session will be run by Laura Galbraith, an experienced wildlife photographer.
