Presentation – “Principles of Photography”

Phil Savoie will talk about “Improving photography – Mixed genres”.  Phil will cover unusual topics such as the science of our vision, lens optics, the psychology of perspective, and the odd war story!

Local images will be featured covering many genres from macro to landscape, sport, wildlife, people and astrophotography.  The talk will also cover methods and hard won tips that will allow members to improve their photo results straight away. Phil Savoie is a multi award winning BBC Natural History Unit cameraman EMMY, BAFTA, published internationally, responsible for testing the lenses and cameras for PLANET EARTH.
