DESCRIPTION:NB – This talk replaces the one by Ann Miles that was originally planned for this evening. \nThis talk shows how Roger approaches photographing the wide assortment of butterflies\, moths\, damselflies\, dragonflies and other insects found in the UK. It also covers fungi\, wildflowers and orchids\, reptiles\, amphibians. \nIn the talk Roger will show the equipment that he uses\, and how he goes about tackling each different subject.  It covers focus stacking\, aperture\, depth of field\, use of flash\, and how to get sharp pictures in windy conditions. It also shows how to find and to get within range of easily scared subjects. In the second part of the talk there is a quiz where the members must pick out which one of 10 images shown was taken under controlled conditions in a studio set up.  read more
