DESCRIPTION:The East Anglian Federation are holding their annual exhibition at Wingfield Barns as usual this year from 4-19 May (except Monday 13th and every Tuesday). The exhibition will be formally opened at 2pm on 4th by Nick Akers\, and then is open from 11am to 4pm daily. DESCRIPTION:Tony North will be covering his cityscapes and other urban images\, and also his creative work mainly covering multiple exposures.Tony will share some tips and techniques\, as well as some anecdotes about the locations and experiences of shooting the scenes. Tony will also mention some of his inspirations\, including Sandra Bartocha and Pep Ventosa\, and will discuss some important themes in these genres of photography\, such as when to convert to mono and when to go with colour. DESCRIPTION:Jonathan Vaines will be talking about adopting an artistic approach to photography\, stepping out of the club mainstream. SUMMARY:Christmas get-together meet-up
DESCRIPTION:To mark the Christmas season\, we thought it would be a nice idea to have a social get-together and a chat this evening. We will therefore be meeting up in a local hostelry this evening for a festive drink. This will be a great chance for all of our members to socialise\, and perhaps to meet people that they haven’t spoken to before. For new members this is an opportunity to get to know the club better\, too. \nThe venue will be the bar of the Lamb Hotel in the centre of Ely\, from around 7pm onwards – please pop in\, you will be very welcome\, and you can bring your partners too if you wish. It will be great to see everyone\, as there never seems to be enough time during the tea/coffee breaks at the College!  read more
