Colin presented this talk at Ely in January 2021\, so if anyone missed it or would like to see it again\, you can get a Zoom link to join the meeting by going to hdcc.org.uk/syllabus \nColin says “Why is it that our landscape pictures are often disappointing and don’t convey how we felt when we took the shot? Probably because our images lack the mood\, atmos­phere or emotion we experi­enced at the time. The camera can’t record how we feel\, so most images need an element of interpre­tation and enhance­ment to make them ‘expressive’.”  read more

SUMMARY:Christmas get-together meet-up
DESCRIPTION:To mark the Christmas season\, we thought it would be a nice idea to have a social get-together and a chat this evening. We will therefore be meeting up in a local hostelry this evening for a festive drink. This will be a great chance for all of our members to socialise\, and perhaps to meet people that they haven’t spoken to before. For new members this is an opportunity to get to know the club better\, too. \nThe venue will be the bar of the Lamb Hotel in the centre of Ely\, from around 7pm onwards – please pop in\, you will be very welcome\, and you can bring your partners too if you wish. It will be great to see everyone\, as there never seems to be enough time during the tea/coffee breaks at the College!  read more
