SUMMARY:St. Ives Interprint competition
DESCRIPTION:Around 20 clubs will compete in this event\, which will be hosted by St. Ives. \nThere is no charge to enter the exhibition during the day\, from 10AM until 4:30PM on Saturday 24th February\, upstairs in the Free Church\, St Ives. \nThe Judging will start at 6:00PM. Tickets for the judging are £7.50 each\, including light refreshments during the interval. These will be on sale throughout the day at the venue (cash only). \nRefreshments will not be available before the judging this year\, but St. Ives has a wide choice of café\, pubs and restaurants.  read more

DESCRIPTION:Ken Scott is this evenings presenter. In his professional work\, Ken runs photography retreats grounded in the concept of mindfulness. At its simplest\, this means an awareness of the present moment. It is also recognised as a highly effective practice for wellbeing\, very apt in these difficult times. Illustrated with a variety of images from his extensive portfolio\, Ken will explain how photography of any kind can be enhanced by mindful practice\, letting go of expectations and judgmental habits\, and how being out with your camera can be a therapeutic pursuit in itself.  read more
