SUMMARY:APG-style practical evening on image processing
DESCRIPTION:This evening John Harvey will be running a practical demonstration of post-processing at the College\, showing members how to make adjustments to Raw files in both Photoshop and Lightroom. We will be using a laptop and projector in the Hall to show how to improve your photographs in real time. \nThis will be an “Advanced Photography Group” style of meeting\, with John processing a number of images from different genres\, including landscape\, wildlife and also one or two images from our recent portrait evening. It will be informal\, and everyone will have a chance to contribute to the evening. If you have any questions on how to post-process your images\, this is the ideal opportunity to learn new skills\, so please do come along and help to make this an educational and enjoyable evening.  read more

SUMMARY:Nene Valley Railway event - Flying Scotsman visit
DESCRIPTION:Friday 28th February sees the famous LNER A3 Class locomotive 60103 ‘Flying Scotsman’ hauling freight for the first time in over 30 years on the ‘Scotch Goods’ photo charter. This will be split in to two events – daytime and evening photo charters.
