PDI Competition No 1, 2019/20

The first pdi competition of the new season was held on Wednesday 25 September 2019, and a good entry of 62 images were judged by Naomi Saul.

A total of 21 images were held back by the judge, and of those 15 were placed 1st, 2nd or 3rd or were Highly Commended or Commended.

The winning entries were as follows:-

First Place – “Fenland Sunrise” by Glynis Pierson

Second Place – “Kingfishers passing fish” by Bruce Liggitt

Third Place – “Candle Light” by Shirley Eastwood

Highly Commended – “Timmi” by Kevin Pigney, “St Edmunds Church, Southwold” by Phil Lenney, and “Dusted Mining Bee” by Ryan Bailey

Commended – “Dragonfly resting” by Richard Whitmore, “Gannet” by Bruce Liggitt, “Fishing Hut, Holy Island” by Pauline Griggs, “Shopping Trip” by Gary Mills, “Harvest Mice” and “Red” both by Kevin Pigney, “My little dude stole a kiss” and “Great Crested Grebe at sunset” both by Nick Bowman, and “Hush a bye Baby” by Shirley Eastwood.
