Print Competition No 3, 2018/19

Our third print competition of the season was held on Wednesday 13 February 2019, and was  judged by Gerry Metcalfe. 

Colour Section

In the colour section of the competition, the results were:

First Place – Kevin Pigney with “Give us a kiss”

Second Place – Viv Houghton with “Sheltering”

Third Place – Kevin Pigney with “Waxwing”

Highly Commended – Nick Bowman with “Blue tit”, Bruce Liggitt with “Lilac crested roller”, and Phil Lenney with “Ely Cathedral Presbytery”

Commended – Dave Hawkins with “The ascent”, and Nick Bowman with “Great crested grebe with catch”

Mono Section

In the mono section of the competition, the results were:

First Place – Dave Hawkins with “Black country yesteryear”

Second Place – Andrew Hunt with “Friends”

Third Place – Kevin Pigney with “Muntjac”

Highly Commended – Gary Mills with “Step well and temple”

Commended – Richard Whitmore with “Puffin with sand eels”
