The Ken Hitch Trophy is a club competition held each year, and this years event was held on Wednesday 24 January 2018. The competition is a themed standalone one, and entries do not count towards the clubs other competition league.

This years themes for the Trophy were “Torn and Frayed” for the colour section, and “One and Many” for the mono section. Each person was able to enter two prints in each section, and congratulations go to James Billings for winning this years competition.  James’s winning images for the “Torn and Frayed” category were “Curtains” and “Rule Britannia”, and for the “One and Many” section were “The Chief” and “Extinguished”, and the four images scored 76 points out of a possible 80. Second place went to Dave Hawkins with a score of 74.

Dave Stewart judged the event, and also provided additional critique during the evening on a number of other images submitted by club members.
