Print Competition No 1, 2019/20

The first print competition of this years season was held on Wednesday 16 October 2019, and the entries were judged by Andy Swain.

Colour Competition

In the colour competition, the winners were as follows:-

First Place – Richard Whitmore with “Arctic Hare”

Second Place – Nick Bowman with “Wild and Wet Fox”

Third Place – Bruce Liggitt with “Soaring Gannet”

The following images were all held back, and all scored 19 points out of 20:-

Phil Lenney with “Port of Felixstowe” and “Mist on the Lake”, Viv Houghton with “Candid Canine”, Nick Bowman with “Northern Gannet Flypast” and James Billings with “Stairway to Heaven”

Mono Competition

In the mono section of the competition, the winners were:-

First Place – Kevin Pigney with “The Three Bassets”

Second Place – Nick Bowman with “Just Jane gets a soaking but crew return home safely”

Third Place – Viv Houghton with “Arum Leaves”

Highly Commended – Bruce Liggitt with “Watching the World go by)
