On 19 October we held the first face to face print competition since before the pandemic, and a number of prints scored a maximum of 20 points. As part of our recent print exhibition at the Babylon Gallery, we ran a wildlife photo competition for under 16’s. There were 3 age groups, for 5 to 8 year olds, 9 to 12 year olds, and 13 to 16 year olds, and the standard of entries was extremely good.

The winner of the 5-8 years category was Rean Chriswin Rex Suresh. The 9-12 years group was won by Alexander Walker, and the 13-16 year group was won by Jasper Grooms. Their winning images are shown below:

The winners all received a 20″ x 16″ mounted print of their winning image, and an Award Certificate presented by Phil Lenney, EPC Secretary. read more

Our 2022 Print exhibition ended on Sunday 9 October 2022, and was very well received, with over 1100 people visiting us during the two weeks.

Thanks to everyone who helped to make the event such a success by covering the 4-hour shifts each afternoon or by entering their work.

Visitors were all impressed by the very high standard of work, and we sold a number of framed and mounted prints, along with cards and calendars.

this was an excellent way to raise the profile of our club, and to reach out to potential new members. read more

Our 2022 Print Exhibition is now running at the Babylon Gallery at Waterside in Ely, where around 150 prints, both mounted and framed, are available to view and purchase.

Entry to the gallery is free, and the exhibition is open every day except Mondays from 12 noon to 4pm. The last day of the exhibition will be Sunday 9 October, so if you haven’t been to see us yet, please do – there are club members in attendance to answer any questions you may have about the prints or about the club. read more
