Presentation on Drone Photography – “Seven Years Aloft – A Photographers journey with Drones”

The topic for this evening will be drone photography, a talk by club member Roger Newark. Roger has talked to us about this subject before, and his presentation was very popular, with many people asking to see it again.

Roger has provided the following info about the evening:

“Seven Years Aloft: A Photographer’s Journey with Drones”
Over the past seven years, I’ve flown drones through shifting technology, changing regulations, and a whole lot of trial and error—all in pursuit of striking aerial imagery. In this talk, I’ll share the lessons I’ve learned, the gear that’s earned its keep, and the mistakes that taught me more than any manual ever could. Expect practical tips, real-world stories, and a few behind-the-scenes glimpses of how drone photography has shaped my creative process.
