This evening will be holding the club's Annual General Meeting, followed by the presentation of Award Certificates. The latter part of the evening will then be when we run our annual "Members Choice" competition, when members will have the opportunity to vote for their favourite images and prints of the year.

EAF Advisory Day 2025 Poster

All club members are invited to visit Upminster CC's exhibition marking their 70th anniversary.  Visitors are required to register, details are on their poster here Registrants will get a tour of the recently restored windmill where the exhibition is being held, and refreshments will be available.

This first evening of the season will be our usual "Meet and Greet" session for new members to introduce the club and the events we have planned for the coming year, together with another activity such as perhaps critiquing some images submitted by members. Paul Radden will be our presenter this evening. Enjoy a trip through 'Yellowstone in Winter'. A journey where the weather was extremely challenging not just in terms of freezing temperatures, ice and snow but also the less than desirable weather changeability and poor light conditions. The topic for this evening will be drone photography, a talk by club member Roger Newark. Roger has talked to us about this subject before, and his presentation was very popular, with many people asking to see it again. The first of our three print league competitions will be judged by Jim Bennett this evening.

Peter Milsom will be presenting his sports images this evening from the Paralympics. Award-winning Suffolk press photographer Rob Howarth will be sharing his experiences and some images from his time as a journalist this evening. Rob specialises in press, public relations and commercial photography. He is also an award-winning photographer and a fully qualified CAA approved drone pilot based in Lowestoft, Suffolk.
