This evening we are going to be hosting our annual PDI competition against Kings Lynn. 30 PDI's will be submitted by each club (max 3 per author) and Nick Akers will be the judge for the evening.

In a change from his excellent wildlife photography, club member and professional photographer Kevin Pigney will be presenting some of his landscape images online this evening. This new presentation from Kevin will show us some of the fantastic locations around the UK that give great opportunities for landscape photography. This year's competition will once again be held at St. Ives Free Church. Each of the clubs competing in this inter-club competition will be submitting 6 prints, and up to 30 clubs will be entering. In our final print competition this season, Naomi Saul will be judging the entries this evening.

Roger is well known to the club for his excellent presentations. In this talk Roger will show a range of 'People Pictures'. The images will cover candid's, photojournalism, as well as studio and available light portraits. Our presenter is Chris Shepherd this evening, who will talk about getting the composition of our images right, and how to crop to reduce the image to its essentials.
