Because of increasing membership levels at the club, we have decided to reduce the number of entries to three per person this year. We will be in the Hall at the College this evening, and although the topics for this evening will be decided nearer the time, this is likely to be a "Digital Techniques" evening run by John Harvey. Multi award winning professional wildlife photographer Kevin Sawford will be presenting this evening. Kevin is based in Suffolk and runs a varied array of wildlife workshops on behalf of Suffolk Wildlife Trust, as well as courses at RSPB Minsmere and courses of his own. This competition is for prints on a theme of your choice, and you can submit between three and five prints. Only one panel will be allowed per member this year, and the judge for the event will be Colin Mill. Panels will not be scored, but the judge will select a First, Second and Third [...][[wp-link-page]]

This evening we will be holding a non-league competition on Zoom judged by Jim Bennett. Scores from this competition will NOT count towards the PDI League.  This is a new idea, so we will see how it goes! In previous years, three images were allowed to be submitted to each PDI League competition, with the [...][[wp-link-page]]

No meeting this evening. However, entries for our third and final Print League competition can be submitted until midnight tonight.

Laurence Harvey will be talking about his experience with photographing music gigs, giving advice on equipment and settings to use for this type of work. The final print competition of our three League competitions will be held tonight (closing date 17 February) and will be judged by Jonathan Vaines. The overall scores from the three competitions and the winner of the Print League will be announced on the News Page of this website as well as on our social media [...][[wp-link-page]]

This evening will be our annual battle against Kings Lynn and Dict Camera Club and will be online via Zoom. We endeavour to use images from as many different club members as possible for this competition, and the event will be judged by Jim Bennett. Club member Kevin Pigney will be presenting a talk to the club this evening, but the topic of the talk has yet to be finalised.
