There will be no meeting tonight due the College half term.
This evenings APG meeting will be run by Kevin Pigney who will be looking at the exposure triangle, (aperture, shutter speed and ISO), and how each of those settings affect your images.
Rory O'Connor will be talking about his photography, and the details of his presentation are as follows: "My presentation is aimed at photographers interested in taking up Seascape and Wildlife (birds mainly) photography. I explain how easy it is to do both on the same shoot. I prepare, how I take and process my images. [...][[wp-link-page]]
We have been invited to compete in this prestigious event, which is limited to 30 clubs. The day starts with a public exhibition, prior to judging in the evening from 6pm. The judge will be Christopher Palmer, FRPS EFIAP OGAGB APAGB. There is an entry fee of £5.00, and the event will be held at [...][[wp-link-page]]
Paul Mitchell will be presenting his talk this evening on landscapes, including Paul's favourite woodland locations, such as Burnham Beeches, Savernake Forest, and other locations throughout the UK. Paul has been successful in the prestigious Landscape Photographer of the Year competition, winning the Sunday Times Choice Award in 2013, the Urban Category winner in 2015 [...][[wp-link-page]]
This competition will be judged by Paul Radden.
This evenings presenter will be Chris Shepherd, who will talk about street photography, people and places, and how to capture interesting images. Chris works in central London, which offers many opportunities to capture interesting images of the people and places of London. For more information, please click here. Another opportunity to share some of your images and to get some feedback from other club members on them, and to meet face to face for a chat. The final PDI competition of this season will be judged by Gerry Metcalfe. Photos on a theme to be announced for the Easter holiday, for informal critique evening on Wednesday 26 April. Images to be uploaded to PhotoEntry by midnight Wednesday 19 April.
