This evening we will be meeting at the College to do some practical hands-on work for a change. Sharon will be bringing along her lightbox together with some flowers and other props, and will demonstrate how to take images using this piece of equipment, that you may not be familiar with. In a last-minute change to the programme due to the illness of our planned presenter, we will now have a talk by Stephen Harper from Ipswich and District Photographic Society, entitled "Mad March Hares".  Stephen has some amazing images of hares, and this evenings talk is in support of Suffolk Wildlife Trust. Bottisham and Burwell Photographic Club are holding their 50the Anniversary Exhibition on 20/21 May 2023, and the event is open from 11am to 5pm on the Saturday and 10am to 4pm on the Sunday. Bothe Prints and PDI's will be on display, and the event will be opened by Vic Hainsworth, President of the EAF. [...][[wp-link-page]]

This evening we will be holding our Annual General Meeting, including the election of our Committee Members for next season. If you are interested in helping to run the club, please contact the Club Secretary in advance for a no-obligation chat. This evening we will be introducing the new club season, and this will include introducing our Committee members, and the programme of events for our coming year. We will also have time to look at some images, so existing members need to submit up to two images each for discussion via PhotoEntry, please.

This talk will be presented by Ashley Franklin. This evening we will discuss and provide guidance on how to enter our print and pdi competitions, with hints and tips. The evening will be led by John, Phil and Kevin. We will also now be incorporating a session on basic post-processing of your images using Lightroom during this evening.

This evening we have a presentation in person at the College by Daniel Bridge, who will run through a variety of tips that can improve anyone's photography, from basic technical aspects to composition and subjects. The first of this seasons print league competitions, which will be judged by Jonathan Vaines. PDI copies of your prints must have been submitted by midnight on 11 October.
