This evening we will be introducing the new club season, and this will include introducing our Committee members, and the programme of events for our coming year. We will also have time to look at some images, so existing members need to submit up to two images each for discussion via PhotoEntry, please.

This talk will be presented by Ashley Franklin. This evening we will discuss and provide guidance on how to enter our print and pdi competitions, with hints and tips. The evening will be led by John, Phil and Kevin. We will also now be incorporating a session on basic post-processing of your images using Lightroom during this evening.

This evening we have a presentation in person at the College by Daniel Bridge, who will run through a variety of tips that can improve anyone's photography, from basic technical aspects to composition and subjects. The first of this seasons print league competitions, which will be judged by Jonathan Vaines. PDI copies of your prints must have been submitted by midnight on 11 October.

There will be no meeting tonight due to half term.

During this presentation we will be taking a detailed look at things like camera settings and gear, and discussing how weather conditions can have a profound impact on an outdoor light-painting shoot.
