Events

This evening we will be hosting an online Zoom competition against Kings Lynn & District CC.  Each club will submit 30 PDI entries to the competition, with no more than 2 per author, and the images will be judged by Jim Bennett. 

Our final PDI competition of the season will be judged by Penny Reeves.

Around 8 clubs will compete in this event, which will be hosted by Bury St. Edmunds Photographic Society. This is a PDI competition with each club submitting 7 images, and no more than 2 per author. As Tracey Lund will now be unable to present part 2 of her wildlife talk to the club, in a change to our published programme an alternative (but just as exciting!) Jonathan Vaines will be talking about adopting an artistic approach to photography, stepping out of the club mainstream. Along with individual images we will see the motivational benefits of working with projects, sets, and groups of image. Most of Jonathan's images are created using in-camera techniques and the focus of the evening will be "thinking [...][[wp-link-page]]

Tony North will be covering his cityscapes and other urban images, and also his creative work mainly covering multiple exposures.Tony will share some tips and techniques, as well as some anecdotes about the locations and experiences of shooting the scenes. The East Anglian Federation are holding their annual exhibition at Wingfield Barns as usual this year from 4-19 May (except Monday 13th and every Tuesday).
