This evening the first of our 3 print competitions will be held at the College, and the judge for the evening will be David Steel. Please remember to bring your prints along by 7.15pm at the latest.
Tracey Lund will be presenting her talk, postponed from last season. Tracey will be showcasing images from Alaska, Canada, Yellowstone, India, and the Zimanga private wildlife park in Zululand, as well as some images from around the UK.
There is no meeting this evening, but don't forget to submit some images for our informal critique evening next week. Images need to be submitted to PhotoEntry by midnight tonight.
This evening we will be looking at some of our members images, and discussing positive ways in which they might be improved. The discussion will be led by some of our more experienced members, but the discussion will be open to all to have their say.
This annual competition is being held once again at Wisbech Town Football Club, and features ten clubs, with each one submitting four pdi's and four prints. Ken Payne is this evenings presenter, who will be showcasing his images for us. Ken is an EAF circuit judge, and has some fantastic macro work to show us this evening. Our second print competition of the season will be judged this evening by Jim Bennett. Please bring your prints to the College by 7.15pm at the latest.
Roger Hance will be back at the club this evening presenting his talk on landscapes and seascapes around the country. Rogers talks are always excellent, so this is an evening to look forward to! This evening there is a competition against St. Neots, St. Ives and Swavesey, which will be hosted this year by St Neots. Each club will be submitting 8 prints and 8 pdi's, and the event will be judged by Naomi Saul.
This evening it is our turn to host this annual competition against Melbourn and Bottisham&Burwell clubs, at Ely College. Each of the three clubs will be entering 18 prints each, with a maximum of two per photographer.
