Ken Hitch Trophy competition 2026 – Results
On Wednesday 14 January 2026 we held our annual Ken Hitch Trophy competition. This is a themed competition for digital images, and this year we set four themes, with one image entered for each theme. The competition was very popular this year, with 84 entries that were judged by Jim Bennett, (who stood in for us at short notice – thanks, Jim!).
The set themes this year in the colour section were: “Action” and “Upside Down”, and in the Mono section were “Minimalist” and “Doors and Windows”
The joint winners of the competition, with 75 points each out of a possible 80, were Phil Lenney and Ryan Bailey. Second place was also shared, with Bruce Liggitt and Roger Newark scoring 73 points each, and Hedley Wright was in 3rd on 72 points.
Phil and Ryan’s winning images will be published on this page shortly.
NB: All of the images entered will be available to view on PhotoEntry in a couple of days, but there will be a short delay this time (due to our electrical testing programme meaning that the club laptop is not available). Sorry for the inconvenience, they should be accessible at the weekend.
