Ken Hitch Trophy PDI Competition 2025
On Wednesday 15 January 2025 we held our annual Ken Hitch Trophy competition at Ely College which was judged by Clive Harward.
The competition was in two sections, with the theme for the colour section being ‘humour’ and the theme for the mono section being ‘abstract’. The total of all four images was aggregated, and the highest score won.
The results of the competition were as follows:
First Place – Ryan Bailey (75 points)
Second Place – Roger Newark (74 points)
Joint Third – Kim Jones, Viv Houghton, and Maurice Wright (each with 71 points)
Congratulations to Ryan, whose winning images were:
“Core Drilling”, “These boots were made for walking”, “Descending Apertures, and “Paper Curves”
Also scoring a maximum of 20 points out of 20 were:
“Are you gonna catch or am I?” by Maurice Wright, “A non-contact sport” by Hedley Wright, “Into the Vortex” by Viv Wright, and “Welcome to the Matrix” by Roger Newark”
