Print Competition No 2, 2018/19

Our second print competition of the season was held on Wednesday 5 December 2018, and was judged by Jonathon Vaines.

Colour competition

In the Colour section, the results were as follows:-

First Place was won by Kevin Pigney with “Red Squirrel having a scratch”

Second Place was shared equally between James Billings with “Drei Zinnen Hutte” and Kevin Pigney with “Young Hare”

Third Place went to Bruce Liggitt with “The Matriarch 2”

Highly Commended – Dan Starling with “Tightrope Kestrel”

Commended  – Pauline Griggs with Black and White” and Dave Hawkins with “Lake Malawi Cichlid Haplochromus Virgatus”

Mono Competition

In the Mono section, results were as follows:-

First Place – Kevin Pigney with “Best Friends”

Second Place – Dan Starling with “Galloping down the Gallops”

Third Place – Kevin Pigney with “Heron by Flashlight”

Highly Commended – Nick Bowman with “How times change” and Gary Mills with “Man and Machine”

Commended – Dave Hawkins with “Waterwheel abstract”
