Print Competition 1 of 3, 2024/25
On 16 October 2024, we held our first Print competition of the season at the College, where 37 colour and 17 mono prints were judged by David Steel.
In the colour section, the following prints scored a maximum of 20 points:
“The Roller has landed” by Bruce Liggitt, “A Study of Mayflies” by Viv Houghton, and “First Light on Thurne Dyke Wind Pump” by Maurice Wright.
Scoring 19/20 in the colour section were the following:
“Glenn Irwin, Hager PBM Ducati” by Maurice Wright, “Slipstreaming” by Nick Bowman, “Kestrel landing” by Kevin Pigney, and “A Summer Garden” by Sharon Powell.
Those scoring 18/20 points were:
“Osprey’s Fish Supper at Dusk” by Kim Jones, “Shinjuku” by John Amas, and “Dunlin” by Hedley Wright.

In the Mono section, one print scored the maximum 20 points:
“Elephant Bull” by Bruce Liggitt.
The following prints scored 19/20:
