Print Competition 2 of 3, 2024/25

On 20 November 2024, we held our second print league competition at Ely College, where 58 prints were judged by Jim Bennett.

In the Colour section, the following prints each scored a maximum 20 points:

“Portrait of a Wasp” by Ryan Bailey, “Kingfisher Emerging” by Kevin Pigney, “Brown Hare Portrait” and “Chrome Hill Sunrise” both by John Harvey.

In the same section, the following prints each scored 19 points:

“Raucous Roller” by Bruce Liggitt, “Winter Robin” by Sharon Powell, “Ely Cathedral Octagon” by Phil Lenney, and “Migrant Hawker Dragonfly” by Nick Bowman.

In the Mono section, the following prints scored a maximum 20 points:

“Elevenses” by Pauline Griggs, “Text Book Cornering Manoeuvre” by Nick Bowman, and “White on Black” by Viv Houghton.

The following mono prints scored 19/20:

“Spectacular Ely Cathedral” by Ryan Bailey, and “Amy as Blade Runner” by Chris Cross.
