Print competition no 3 results 2025/26

On Wednesday 4 March 2026 we held the final print competition of this season, and a strong entry of 52 colour and 18 mono prints were judged by Naomi Saul.

The following prints scored a maximum 20 points in the colour section:

“Kingfisher Diving for Prey” by Nick Bowman, “Red Kite” by Hedley Wright, “Wintry Skies over Ely Cathedral by Phil Lenney, “Diamond Beach Iceland by Chris Cross, “Glenn Irwin, Hager PBM Ducati” by Maurice Wright, and “Kestrel Hunting” by Kevin Pigney.

These prints also score highly, with 19/20 points:

“Spring Flowers” by Viv Wright, “Early morning winter training at Lee Valley” by Kim Jones, “Wet Red Squirrel portrait” by Glynis Pierson, “Number 44” by Craig King, “Two Gannets, One Fish” by Sheila Abrams, “Callum Bey, One for the cameras” by Nigel Lucas “Four Spotted Chaser” by Hedley Wright and “Redwing with Berry” by Ray Watson.

In the mono section, the prints scoring 20 points were:

“Lacing Up” by Chris Cross and “Descending Aperture by Ryan Bailey

These prints scored 19/20:

“Winter Chill” by Viv Houghton and “Sandymouth Bay” by John Harvey
