PDI Series Two – PDI Competition no 3

On Wednesday 17 March 2021 we held our third pdi competition of the post Christmas series, and 42 colour and 22 mono images were judged by Rex Makemson.

The results of the competition were as follows:-

Colour Section

First Place – Sharon Powell for “Still life with alstroemeria flowers”

Second Place – Richard Whitmore for “Grebe with loach”

Third Place – Phil Lenney for “Harris Hawk”

Highly Commended – Glynis Pearson for “Cold Shoulder”, Gary Mills for “Seagull in danger” and Kevin Williams for “Red Kite diving in rain Dumfries”

Commended – Glynis Pearson for “Rosy Bonnet fungi”, Bruce Liggit for “Balancing Blue”, Chris Cross for “Proud parents” and Shirley Eastwood for “Starling (sturnus vulgaris)”
