Pat Goode Memorial competition 2024 results

On Monday 11 November 2024, Wisbech and District Camera Club hosted their final Pat Goode Memorial Shield competition. Ely Photographic Club were competing once again in this external inter-club competition.  A number of members of Ely Photographic Club travelled to Wisbech Town Football Club, to watch this enjoyable event being judged by David Steele. David had four prints and four pdi images from each of the 10 competing clubs to judge, so a total of 80 items during the course of the evening.

The winners of the competition were the Photographic Imaging Co-Operative known as PICO, with an impressive combined total of 152 points. Deepings and North Norfolk clubs were second and third, and Ely came a very creditable fourth with 139 points, i.e. beating six other clubs, which was a great result!
