Cambridge University presentation – “Sonic Canvasses: When Music meets Art”
Cambridge University’s Fitzwilliam Museum Society are inviting EPC members to a presentation featuring prolific music photographer Andy Earl, who has produced photographic artwork for album covers by Johnny Cash, Pink Floyd, and the Cranberries. Earl has represented Britain at the Venice Biennale cultural exhibition, and is a top photographer in the music industry. More info can be found on his website.
In this event, Earl plans to share the stories behind his iconic photographs, featuring collaborations with artists such as Prince, Madonna, Oasis and Paul McCartney.

The purpose of this talk will be to explore the intersection between visual art and music, particularly how photography can be crucial in the creation and projection of an artists’ musical identity. Entry to this event will be free in order to make it as accessible as possible for everyone and the Museum Society will host a wine reception afterwards.
