The second of our league print competitions, which will be judged by Penny Reeve. Closing date is midnight on 21 October. Please note the slightly earlier start time due to the number of entries.

The second time that the club have run this event, where eight local clubs (including EPC) will compete for the Shield. Each club will submit four pdi's and four prints, and the judge this year will be Colin Mill. The competition will start at the earlier time of 7pm in the Adelaide Hall so that [...][[wp-link-page]]

The topics for this Digital Techniques session have yet to be decided - if you are a new member and would like us to cover a specific aspect of photography or post-processing, please let us know. More details will follow nearer the time, but the session will be led by John Harvey.

This is the latest presentation from local judge Paul Radden, following his visit to this private game reserve in South Africa. He will explain his photographic experience in this challenging environment, showing us a selection of his best images. This competition between Ely, Melbourn and Bottisham&Burwell clubs, will be hosted by Bottisham&Burwell this year. It will therefore be held on a Tuesday evening and EPC members are encouraged to go along to the competition to support the club. There has been a change to the original club programme for the evening of 2nd December, due to Swavesey Camera Club now holding the 4-way regional competition on 4th February 2027. To give members an additional opportunity to practice street photography, we are going to meet in Cambridge city centre. This will be in the [...][[wp-link-page]]

The first of our three league competitions for PDI's (Projected Digital Images) will be held this evening, and members can submit two entries each. (The closing date was 2 December). The judge this evening will be Clive Harward.

A chance for us all to get together in an informal and social environment at the Lamb Hotel in Ely to enjoy the festive season - you don't even have to talk about photography! The first event of the New Year! Roger has presented his talks to the club on many occasions, and the topic for this one has yet to be decided. More information to follow, but this will be a Zoom presentation.

Because of increasing membership levels at the club, we have decided to reduce the number of entries to three per person this year. This will be a themed competition for digital images, and the themes have now been set as: Colour: "The Colour Red" and "Weather phenomena".
