Club member Roger Newark will be presenting a talk this evening on using drones for his photography. Roger will share details of some of the equipment he uses for taking his images, and will present his talk to EPC members. EPC will be competing in this inter-club event which will be held via Zoom, and it will be judged by Vincent Scothern DPAGB AFIAP BPE5 PPSA

Tonight we will be inviting our members to share some of their images informally on a set theme, which will be "a different perspective". This should be a different view of a familiar subject or object, so maybe a low or a high vantage point, a close-up or macro, or an unusual angle or view. [...][[wp-link-page]]

EPC will be competing in this competition for the A45 Trophy which will be held between 12 clubs at the Newbury Community Centre on Thursday 27 April 2023

Simon Ellingworth will be talking this evening about street photography. Simon is a lead RPS educator and 17x international award winning photography educator and an RPS lecturer, who will inspire, enlighten, and challenge club members to think about street photography. The East Anglian Federation of Photographic Societies are holding their annual exhibition of prints and projected images at Wingfield Barns, Suffolk from 29 April to 11 May 2023 (excluding Tuesdays, and Saturday 6 May 2023). Warren Alani  will be presenting his sports images tonight, talking about how to create sports images that have real impact, and how to capture the action in a creative way. This evening we will be meeting at the College to do some practical hands-on work for a change. Sharon will be bringing along her lightbox together with some flowers and other props, and will demonstrate how to take images using this piece of equipment, that you may not be familiar with. Bottisham and Burwell Photographic Club are holding their 50the Anniversary Exhibition on 20/21 May 2023, and the event is open from 11am to 5pm on the Saturday and 10am to 4pm on the Sunday.
