Pat Goode Memorial – External competition results

There were 11 clubs competing in the competition and each club entered 4 PDIs and 4 Prints. PICO was 1st with 146 points, Deepings 2nd with 145 points and we were in 3rd place with 140 points. We were quite pleased to come 3rd (5 points more than Wisbech in 4th who normally beat us) although we were leading the competition at the halfway stage by 2 points following a strong showing with our 4 PDI entries. The Judge did a good job and was consistent with his scoring – only 1 PDI & 1 Print scored 20.

# Cathedral Reflection by Phil Lenney = 19
# Harvest Mice on Blackberries by Kevin Pigney = 18
# Sea Defences, Felixstowe by Martin Smith = 19
# Stairway to Heaven by James Billings = 17

# Great Crested Grebe at Sunset by Nick Bowman = 16
# The Three Bassets by Kevin Pigney = 18
# Arctic Hare by Richard Whitmore = 16
# The Leveret by Kevin Pigney = 17

Judges’ average score for Prints was also 16.5 points so he was very consistent with his scoring.

Thanks to Viv and John for coming along with Kevin and me to support EPC. Thanks to those members for providing your work for this competition.
