Pat Goode memorial trophy competition
Yesterday evening, 14 November 2022, Ely Photographic Club competed in the Pat Goode memorial trophy competition which was held at Wisbech Football Club. Several EPC members braved the foggy conditions to travel to the competition to support it and were rewarded with an excellent result for the club. Out of a total of eleven competing clubs, we came joint second with Deepings Camera Club, and were beaten only by the elite PICO group. We have competed in this competition in the past but have never had such a good result as this, which demonstrates how far the club has come on recently – we have some excellent photographers who are producing great work, well done!
Each club entered four pdi images and four prints, and unlike some other clubs we were able to have each of our eight entries submitted by a separate club member. The event was judged by Vin Scothern, and our total score was 139 out of a possible 160 maximum
