The results from PDI competition no 2 of the 2024/25 season are now available on our competitions page here

This year it was the turn of Kings Lynn and District Camera Club to host this annual event, when 30 images from each club were judged by Nick Akers. Although Ely were ahead by just one point at the halfway mark, the final result was that Kings Lynn won the event by one point at the end, once the held-back images were scored. Congratulations to Kings Lynn, and we look forward to another closely-fought contest next year!

On Saturday 1 March 2025 St. Ives Photographic Club hosted their annual Interprint competition which was held at St. Ives Free Church. The prints were on display to the public during the day and then judged in the evening by David Smith.

A total of 21 clubs participated in this event, and Ely Photographic Club came an excellent third overall, behind Bury St. Edmunds in first place and PICO in second place.

The Cambridge Inter-Club Digital competition was held at Whittlesford on Saturday 25 January 2025 at Whittlesford. If you would like to view the results they are now available here.

Next years event will be held on Saturday 24 January 2026.

Our annual themed Ken Hitch Trophy competition was held on 15 January 2025 and judged by Clive Harward. Congratulations to Ryan Bailey who won the competition – more info on our competitions page, or click here

The results of our first of three digital image competitions was held on Wednesday 11 December at Ely College where 65 images were judged by Nick Akers. The results are now available on the Competitions Page of this website, or click here.

Thanks to Jim Bennett for judging the 58 prints in the competition.

EPC came a very creditable fourth out of ten competing clubs on Monday 11 November at the last of these events to be hosted by Wisbech and District Camera Club. Each of the ten clubs submitted four pdi images and four prints, and the event was judged by David Steele. This was a great result for the club.
